Many of our images are scanned from our archive of slides which date back to the late 1800's early 1900's.  For this reason some images may appear a little inferior in quality, however as many of these images are very rare vintage photography we feel it would be a shame not to offer them.  We have have over 1.5 million of these slides, it is a long time consuming task to clean each slide, scan it, catalogue and keyword each file.  If you require a scanned image of higher quality we are more than happy to rescan that image for you and will provide a quotation prior commencing any orders.  As you can see it is going to take us some time to have all these images online, we will constantly add to our online image database everyday.

 

Scanned images for sale at APG Images are predominently supplied at a resolution of 300 dpi or greater.  Any images other than those photographers images for sale that have a lower resolution should be marked accordingly.  Our scanned images are supplied in compressed jpg format, with the uncompressed size varying between 30-50mb.  Any of our scanned images and a great many of our photographers images can be supplied in .tiff format if required.

 

We offer for sale the High Quality images and where indicated a large, medium and small version of the high quality image along with print and canvas products. Our other image sizes are based on the following sizes.
